Where Family, Food, and Celebration Come Together in the Sonoran Desert
Some weddings are beautiful. Some weddings are fun. And then there are weddings like Aidan and Zach's—an entire weekend filled with love, laughter, family, incredible food, and unforgettable moments set against the backdrop of Southern Arizona.
From the very beginning, it was an absolute pleasure working with Aidan and her wonderful mother, Connie. They selected our popular "We Got This" Wedding Package, allowing them to let our team manage the day and includes catering by the always amazing Café à la C'Art of Tucson, day-of event coordination, DJ services, and bar service, creating a seamless experience for couples planning a destination wedding in Southern Arizona.

A Destination Wedding Near Tubac, Arizona
Many of Aidan and Zach's guests traveled to Southern Arizona for the celebration, making it a true destination wedding weekend. Most guests stayed just minutes away at the beautiful Tubac Golf Resort, where, after a rehearsal at my ranch, the festivities began with a welcome gathering at The Stables Restaurant.
The western-themed rehearsal dinner was the perfect introduction to ranch life in Southern Arizona and gave family and friends an opportunity to connect before the wedding day festivities began.

Spring Garden Elegance Meets Italian Family Style
Connie had a beautiful vision for the reception and trusted our team to help bring it to life.
To complement the lush spring garden setting at Agua Linda Farm, they rented gorgeous farm tables and garden chairs from Frenchie's Rentals in Tucson. Connie sourced patterned linens that became runners across the rustic farm tables and full linens for our round reception tables, adding warmth, texture, and personality to the design.
The reception space glowed with candlelight as eighteen pillar candles graced each long rectangular table. The effect was romantic, elegant, and timeless.
While flowers are included in our package, Connie's childhood friend Beth is a talented florist and wanted to create the floral designs herself. Beth sourced blooms from Trader Joe's and assembled charming bud vases onsite for the farmhouse tables and larger arrangements for the round tables. I love the mix of the two tables! The result was fresh, organic, and perfectly suited to the garden atmosphere.
An Incredible Dinner Shared Family Style
As an Italian-American couple, Aidan and Zach chose family-style dining—a perfect fit for their warm, welcoming celebration.
Café à la C'Art delivered another exceptional meal featuring:
Pan-seared chicken breast topped with roasted garlic, goat cheese cream, sweet roasted peppers, and whole roasted garlic cloves
Rosemary and garlic roasted redskin potatoes
Mixed greens salad with Kalamata olives, roasted mini peppers, grape tomatoes, feta, grilled red onion, and honey balsamic vinaigrette
Freshly baked focaccia bread served at every table
Large serving bowls were brought to each table. Guests lingered over dinner, passing platters, sharing stories, and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere that family-style service creates.
And just when everyone thought they couldn't eat another bite, dessert arrived: a spectacular tiramisu "long cake" that was every bit as delicious as it sounds.

Fashion, Family, and Personal Touches
Aidan looked absolutely stunning in her elegant gown from Evie Young, perfectly blending sophistication and romance. Later in the evening, she changed into the cutest cocktail dress from Reformation, ready to dance the night away with friends and family.
One of the evening's most talked-about appetizers came from Zach's godmother, who prepared an incredible gorgonzola spread that guests couldn't stop raving about. I'm still hoping to get that recipe!
The dance floor stayed packed all night thanks to Stewart's DJ services.
The Most Fun "Do Not Play List" Ever
Aidan and Zach added a hilarious twist to song requests...
They created a "Do Not Play List" featuring some of the most common wedding songs. Guests who desperately wanted to hear one of those songs had to donate $20 to the couple's honeymoon fund before Stewart would play it.
Every time one of those forbidden songs came on, Aidan and Zach would burst out laughing. Not only was it entertaining for everyone, but it also added a little extra spending money for their honeymoon.
It was one of the most creative wedding reception ideas we've seen!

A Safe Ride Home and Pancakes the Next Morning
At the end of the evening, Mountain View Transportation safely returned guests to Tubac Golf Resort, allowing everyone to celebrate worry-free.
The next morning, Connie hosted a farewell pancake breakfast at her Tubac Airbnb. After an entire weekend of planning, hosting, and celebrating, she greeted everyone with a smile and a warning:
"I'm making pancakes—nothing fancy, so don't expect blueberries!"
It was classic Connie and perfectly captured the warmth, humor, and authenticity that made the entire weekend so special.
Thank You, Aidan & Zach
From the beautiful spring garden reception to the candlelit tables, family-style feast, packed dance floor, and heartfelt family connections, Aidan and Zach's wedding was everything we love about hosting destination weddings at Agua Linda Farm.
